ABOUT

Anthony Nusca is a Toronto-based photographer who has been working professionally with leading global brands on North American and international projects since 2019.

Combining a passion for art and creative projects with a background in Mechanical Engineering (BSc, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden), he brings a unique lens to his photography.

Anthony Nusca delivers to every project the technical prowess and artistic inspiration needed to bring creative concepts to life through powerful, memorable images. His work is shaped by a global upbringing and a cross-cultural lens, grounded in moments that feel quiet but formative. He explores how pivotal life experiences - from the deeply personal to the seemingly mundane - shape identity, memory and emotional inheritance. His imagery distills decisive  moments into visual narratives defined by stillness, ritual and emotional tension. Often navigating themes such as legacy and belonging, Nusca invites viewers to consider how we become who we are - and what moments, gestures and relationships leave the deepest imprint.

Client work to-date has been a global journey, taking him across Canada and the US as well as to diverse locales in Europe and Africa – each project enriching his skills and appreciation for the power of truly great photography.

In 2023, he released his debut photobook and solo gallery, Before We Grew Up. A project that is both an extension of himself and of the people who had the greatest impact on his formative years. Anthony set out to interpret and articulate memories in a way he never could with words alone. Recreating and documenting the moments that raised him to be the person he is today.
